For the fifth straight season, LSU heads into a week two looking for its first of the year. They’ll get it of course, the only question is how lopsided will the final score be.
Other than being back inside Tiger Stadium for the 100th season, there’s not a lot of redeeming qualities for this game. Personally, LSU could beat Nicholls 100-0 and it wouldn’t phase me in the slightest. I understand that these FBS-FCS games help fund schools like Nicholls, but I’m hoping as we’re entering the 12-team playoff era, these games will go by the wayside.
