BATON ROUGE - All five LSU freshman gymnasts were named to the First-Year Southeastern Conference Academic Honor Roll, the league office announced.
Elena Arenas, Sierra Ballard, Chase Brock, Haleigh Bryant and Olivia Dunne were recognized by SEC Commissioner Greg Sankey for their work in the classroom. The First-Year SEC Academic Honor Roll is based on grades from the 2020-21 academic calendar.
A total of 1,130 student-athletes were named to the honor roll by SEC Commissioner Greg Sankey.
Any student-athlete who participates in a Southeastern Conference championship sport or a student-athlete who participates in a sport listed on his/her institution's NCAA Sports Sponsorship Form is eligible for nomination to the Academic Honor Roll.
