If you have a heart, you were touched by the outpouring of support for Les Miles, support that probably ultimately saved his job. I really like Miles and I’m glad he is still the LSU coach. Like most others, I thought AD Joe Alleva and others at the school handled the entire thing badly.
But before we get too caught up in the happy ending, this thing is far from over. Miles is safe for the upcoming season, no doubt. But how in the world is he going to recruit now without assurances the same thing won’t happen against next year?
