Fournette Remains Nation's Leading Rusher

BATON ROUGE – LSU running back Leonard Fournette continues to lead the nation in every major rushing category as the sophomore has racked up 1,352 yards on 176 carries during the first seven games of the season for the fourth-ranked and undefeated Tigers.

Fournette’ 1,352 rushing yards is nearly 200 yards better than second-rated Tyler Ervin of San Jose State. Fournette is also averaging 193.1 yards per game, 43 yards more than Dalvin Cook of Florida State. His 15 rushing touchdowns also leads the nation.
