BATON ROUGE, La. – Forty-nine LSU student-athletes were named to the 2020-2021 Winter SEC Academic Honor Roll on Wednesday by Commissioner Greg Sankey. The Winter accolades recognize the LSU sports of men's and women's basketball, gymnastics, and swimming & diving. The roll is based on grades from the 2020 Spring, Summer and Fall terms.
LSU's list includes SEC Diver of the Year Juan Celaya-Hernandez and 29 of his swim & dive teammates, SEC Floor Champion and Specialist of the Year Kiya Johnson and 11 of her gymnastics teammates, five members of the women's basketball team and two members of the men's basketball team.
