Will Wade filled out his 2020-21 roster over the weekend when former Washington Husky center Bryan Penn-Johnson announced he was transferring to LSU.
After taking a redshirt in the 2018-19 season, Penn-Johnson only appeared in six games, playing a total of 34 minutes in 2019-20. Penn-Johnson scored 11 points, grabbed five rebounds and blocked five shots.
Standing at 7’0” and weighing 245 pounds, Penn-Johnson was a top-200 prospect coming out of high school. He was the No. 1 center prospect in his home state of Utah and LSU offered Penn-Johnson a scholarship in May of 2017.
