Former Texas Tech WR Jonathan Giles puts LSU in top 10

When Texas standout safety Caden Sterns announced that he was switching his commitment from LSU to Texas on Sunday evening, it inevitably shook things up for the Tigers and its staff.

Sterns was one of four defensive back commitments for LSU in 2018, but was the only pure safety on its board. Florida defensive back Nadab Joseph would be capable of playing the position at the next level, but he is currently viewed as a cornerback prospect by the Tigers staff.

The same could be said for LSU's in-state commitments as well, with Scotlandville's Kelvin Joseph and Evangel's Ardarius Washington being versatile players that could play a multitude of positions in the secondary.
