After LSU was shut out by Alabama Saturday in Tiger Stadium, many are looking for answers offensively. One former NFL quarterback is offering his services.
“(Ed Orgeron) doesn’t have to fire (Steve) Ensminger,” he said. “He can just add me.”
Salisbury was a guest on the “Josh Innes Show” Friday on Sportstalk 790 in Houston, the station where the former ESPN analyst hosts afternoon drive.
“I love Steve and I love Coach (Orgeron),” Salisbury said. “I can help them.”
The idea of adding Salisbury to the LSU staff was first broached in August when Salisbury Tweeted that he had to decline an offer to join LSU’s staff as an offensive analyst because of compliance issues.
