Former LSU wide receiver Eddie Kennison has been named to the Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame, it was announced Wednesday.
Kennison was one of eight athletes and coaches selected in the 2017 class.
Kennison, who played at LSU from 1993-95, earned second-team All-SEC honors with the Tigers in 1995. During his three-year Tigers career, he caught 98 passes for 1,554 yards and 10 touchdowns.
Kennison also was a six-time All-American on LSU’s track team, where he won the NCAA championship in the 4×100 meter relay.
