For three years when he was at LSU, Alex Bregman was a fan favorite for a lot of reasons. High on that list is how the New Mexico native interacted with the young fans that make up the heart and soul of home games at Alex Box Stadium.
That wasn't lost on the two-time All-American. So when his first season of pro ball ended in September, Bregman began working on giving back.
Starting at the end of the month, Bregman's company Rake City will host a series of youth baseball camps in Houston and around South Louisiana, with the help of former players from the state's other Division I programs.
