Aaron Ernest never played college football, but he has earned a chance to play professionally. The former LSU sprinter was invited to the Seattle Seahawks camp Tuesday (May 2).
After retiring from professional track, Ernest decided to give football a try this spring and participated in LSU's Pro Day. He ran a 4.31 40-yard dash, did 12 reps in the bench press and had a 37.5-inch vertical in front of all 32 NFL teams.
He isn't completely new to football, as he was a standout receiver at Homewood High School after moving to Alabama from Baton Rouge after Hurricane Katrina.
