Former LSU defensive lineman Ricky Jean-Francois has signed a 1-year free agent contract with the Green Bay Packers, according to a tweet by ESPN.com's Adam Schefter.
Jean-Francois, who helped LSU win the 2007 BCS Championship, played for Washington the past two seasons before being released March 15. Before that, Jean-Francois played two years for the Colts and four with the San Francisco, which drafted him in 2009 in the seventh round (No. 244 overall).
In his career, Jean-Francois has 36 starts in 109 games with 12 sacks, one forced fumble and 164 tackles.
