Former LSU edge rusher Isaiah Washington is headed to a Mississippi junior college to continue his career. He had announced last week he was transferring.

In a response to a message on his Twitter timeline, Washington said he hoped to eventually be back at LSU.
Washington, a New Orleans native, had missed spring practice for academic reasons.
Washington, a former three-star prospect, played in six games as a true freshman in 2016, with three tackles and a forced fumble.
