Texas A&M has dismissed receiver Kirk Merritt from the team according to a report from Theeagle.com.
The report comes after Merritt plead not guilty to two counts of indecent exposure stemming from allegations that he exposed himself to two tutors.
Merritt's lawyer told the Eagle that the exposure was ""a bad case of jock itch" and that the intent was not to sexually gratify anyone."
Merritt a former Destrehan standout transferred to Texas A&M from Oregon prior to the 2016 season and sat out per NCAA rules.
He was reportedly suspended in November following his arrest and reinstated in February.
