BATON ROUGE – LSU has added McNeese State to its 2021 football schedule, vice chancellor and director of athletics Joe Alleva announced Tuesday.
The Tigers and Cowboys will meet on Sept. 11, 2021, in Tiger Stadium in what will be LSU’s home opener that year. LSU opens the 2021 season on the road against UCLA at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California.
The LSU-McNeese contest will mark the third meeting between the teams and the first since weather forced the cancelation of the 2015 game in Tiger Stadium early in the first quarter. LSU won the other meeting against McNeese State, 32-10, on Oct.
