It appears Florida football coach Jim McElwain will have a new starting quarterback in his second season guiding the Gators.
Several reports, including one by Mike Huguenin of Gridiron Now, say that junior Treon Harris, who took over as the Gators' starter in the final eight games last season when Will Grier was suspended for testing positive for PEDs, is moving to wide receiver.
Harris, a dual-threat QB, struggled in McElwain's pro-style offense, completing just 50.6 percent of his passes for 1,676 yards with nine TDs.
In his first start last year, Harris threw for 272 yards and two TDs in a 35-28 loss to LSU in Tiger Stadium.
