BATON ROUGE – LSU senior long snapper Blake Ferguson has been named to the SEC Community Service Team for 2019, the league office announced on Wednesday.
The SEC names a Community Service Team for each of its 21-league sponsored sports, looking to highlight an athlete from each school who gives back to his community through superior service efforts.
Ferguson, who will graduate later this month with a Master's degree in Business Administration, is a four-time member of the SEC Academic Roll as well as serving as the chair of the SEC's Football Leadership Council for the past two years.
