Ex-LSU QB Lindsey Scott ready to ‘make a difference and an impact’ at Missouri

BATNO ROUGE, La. – Former LSU quarterback Lindsey Scott is headed back to the SEC. After leading East Mississippi Community College to the NJCAA national championship in 2017, Scott this week committed to Missouri.

“When I got on campus, I saw a place where I could make a difference and an impact,” Scott said on “After Further Review” on 104.5 ESPN Baton Rouge. “You’re playing quality football against great teams every weekend, and I’m ready for the competition.”

That competition is one reason some were surprised to see Scott choose Mizzou. He is eligible to play immediately in 2018, but the Tigers return Drew Lock, who bypassed the NFL draft to return for his senior season.
