Former LSU player Trey Lealaimatafao pleaded no contest to felony charges and was immediately sentenced to six year in state prison in California, according to MyNewsLA.com.
Lealaimatafao entered his plea to a pair of second-degree roberry counts and one carjacking out. He carried out a series of robberies in South Los Angeles with an ex-USC athlete and third man, both of whom previously pleaded no contest to the same charges.
Lealaimatafao, a redshirt freshman, was kicked off the LSU football team in June of 2015 following his arrest in connection with an off-campus fight.
Lealaimatafao's dismissal stems from an off-campus incident two weeks ago when he was arrested for simple battery and simple robbery four hours.
