In the wake of last summer’s devastating floods across Louisiana, Ed Orgeron is working to spread the word about the state’s plans for rebuilding.
Orgeron is recording public service announcements to encourage people to apply for rebuilding programs, The Advocate of Baton Rouge, La., reported.
He is working in partnership with the office of Louisiana governor John Bel Edwards, and he posted a photo from the office Thursday.

Louisiana residents need to apply to become eligible for a portion of the approximate $1.
