LSU coach Ed Orgeron has high expectations for the Tigers going into next season.
According to LSU offensive guard Will Clapp, Orgeron made a big guarantee after the Tigers’ 29-9 win over Louisville in the Citrus Bowl on Saturday.
“Coach O told us in the locker room,” Clapp told the The Advocate. “‘It’s a great win, but next season, things are going to be different. We’re going to be in it (College Football Playoff).’”
LSU was a trendy pick to be one of the four teams to reach the College Football Playoff in 2016, but finished the season with a disappointing 8-4.
