How long has it been since LSU has had a “complete quarterback”? Ed Orgeron says the Tigers will have to deal with one this weekend.
The Tigers coach described Mississippi State’s Nick Fitzgerald as a “complete quarterback” in his weekly press conference before LSU plays the Bulldogs on Saturday.
The challenge for LSU is finding a way to contain the elusive Fitzgerald, who is gaining nearly nine yards on every carry, without sacrificing the ability to control the secondary.
Orgeron knows that’s easier said than done.
“If you put too many people in the box, he can throw that football,” Orgeron said.
