When LSU takes the field in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome on Saturday night against BYU, the Tigers will do so with a true freshman starting on the offensive line.
LSU will either start Saahdiq Charles or Ed Ingram at right guard against the Cougars, and Ed Orgeron has faith in both guys.
"I'm proud of those guys and I've seen them work throughout camp and see them go against very good defensive linemen," Orgeron said this week. "They are ready to go. Are they going to make freshmen mistakes? Yes. But it's not like they are physically prepared to it.
