LSU’s top-rated transfer portal class added a second tight end as Donovan Green, formerly of Texas A&M, announced on Saturday he would be transferring to LSU.
Green was a four-star prospect coming out of high school in the 2022 cycle and had a promising start to his collegiate career. Green played in 10 games in 2022 with four starts and caught 22 passes for 233 yards and a pair of touchdowns. He was primed for a breakout season in 2023 but tore his ACL and missed the entirety of the season. He worked his way back to the field in 2024 and played in seven games this past season, but did not record a statistic.
