The first catch came along the right sideline, after D.J. Chark got behind the final Chattanooga defender. The next grab came between four defenders down the middle of the field.
Both went for longer than 40 yards, and those didn't match the impact Chark made on special teams.
The LSU senior wideout can't promise every week to make the kind of plays he did last week in the 45-10 victory against the Mocs, but he is likely to be given more chances to make big plays.
"It's pretty exciting," said Chark, whose biggest play came on a punt return of 65 yards for a touchdown in the second quarter Saturday at Tiger Stadium.
