An overall positive weekend in baseball ended on a less than stellar note as LSU fell 13-4 at Kentucky. Obviously, it would have been huge to get the sweep, but winning a series on the road, especially after beginning the season with three consecutive series losses and only one league win, was definitely a step in the right direction.
The Tigers fell into an early 4-0 hole when freshman starter Blake Money gave up a pair of two-run homers — one in the first inning and another in the third.
