Any coaches that had aspirations of flipping Derek Stingley Jr.’s commitment from LSU might be better served committing their time and energy elsewhere according to the five-star cornerback’s father.
“He’s 100 percent in,” Derek Stingley, Sr. said Wednesday on my radio show. “I don’t play those type games and Derek knows that.”
Stingley was first offered by LSU as a 14-year-old and the persistence has paid off.
“We’re not gonna go back off this commitment,” he said. “No other team has an opportunity to come in and talk to us and try to make us decommit and get with them.
