Former LSU linebacker Deion Jones has begun to shoot up NFL Draft boards since the conclusion of his senior season.
Jones went from being projected as a late-round selection to a potential late first-round pickup. He is viewed as a player that could grow into being a building block for a franchise on the defensive side of the ball.
The 6-foot-1, 222-pound prospect played high school ball in the New Orleans area before arriving at LSU, being named the New Orleans Times-Picayune Metro Defensive Player of the Year following his senior season.
Jones only started in one game throughout his first three years playing for the Tigers, earning a reputation as a special teams standout.
