LSU coach Ed Orgeron announced Thursday (Oct. 11) that receiver Dee Anderson and defensive tackle Tyler Shelvin are both unavailable for Saturday's game against No. 2 Georgia.
Orgeron did not elaborate on why they are unavailable.
Shelvin did not travel with the team to LSU's game last week against Florida and didn't practice all week. A source told NOLA.com | The Times-Picayune that Shelvin violated team rules but was not suspended.
Anderson didn't practice Wednesday. He had 12 catches for 154 yards this season and has been somebody Orgeron and teammates have raved about.
