Yesterday I had the pleasure of listening to Coach Paul Mainieri speak enthusiastically about his 2018 LSU team and then stepping out onto the baseball field for a brief moment before light rains chased us indoors. To say that I left with a heightened case of spring fever, and a greater sense of optimism about the upcoming season, would be a gross understatement.
