In yesterday’s report, I gave you my initial thoughts on Saturday’s win, and today we’ll “rewind” and expand on a few points that were either not covered at all or not covered in depth. But first, here are a couple of newsy items to share:
• After defeating Mississippi State 23-20, LSU moved up two spots to No. 18 in the AP Poll and five spots to No. 17 in the USA Today Coaches Poll. Other SEC teams in the top 25s include Alabama (1/1), Texas A&M (10/13), Georgia (12/11), Tennessee (14/12), Arkansas (17/18) and Florida (19/16).
