Good morning, Tiger Fans,
We’ve got a lot of news to cover today, so I’ll keep our LSU baseball recap brief and to the point: LSU took care of business and did what they needed in a 5-3 series-opening win over Missouri. Ma’Khail Hilliard gave LSU seven outstanding innings, Jacob Berry set the tone with home runs in his first two at-bats to highlight a strong offensive night, and the Tigers played error-free defense. All in all, a good night at the Box.
Of course, it wasn’t perfect, as evidenced by a second-inning when LSU loaded the bases with no outs and got nothing to show for it.
