Just one day after National Signing Day, two of LSU’s assistants are gone from the Tigers’ coaching staff.
Dameyune Craig and Jabbar Juluke are no longer on the staff of coach Ed Orgeron, the university announced Thursday. Craig was dismissed, while Juluke was reassigned to another position within the athletic department.
Craig, noted for his recruiting, had served as recruiting coordinator at LSU since Orgeron took over as coach. A former quarterback at Auburn, Craig also coached LSU’s wide receiver unit. His hiring away from Auburn by then-LSU coach Les Miles last year was seen as a coup.
