College football's 2020 season is officially underway, and action is set to continue into Week 2 with an interesting slate of matchups. Unfortunately, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Week 2 slate is lighter than usual. Week 2 only features 21 matchups, but the schedule is boosted by the ACC and Big 12 beginning play for 2020. The action for Week 2 begins on Thursday night with UAB taking on Miami. Friday night's game between SMU and TCU was canceled. On Saturday, Syracuse at North Carolina, Louisiana at Iowa State and Charlotte at Appalachian State kick off the first wave of games.
