With National Signing Day in the books, the focus for the 2018 college football season shifts to spring practices and upcoming offseason workouts. While most freshmen won’t arrive until the summer, a handful of incoming recruits already hit campus prior to spring ball. And thanks to the early signing period, most players and coaching staffs had an earlier breakdown of how their depth chart looked for the upcoming year. Enrolling early has its advantages for incoming freshmen, and a couple of prospects could make an impact at quarterback in 2018. Clemson's Trevor Lawrence, Georgia's Justin Fields, Washington State's Cammon Cooper, USC's JT Daniels and Nebraska's Adrian Martinez are just a few names to watch from the true freshmen ranks at quarterback for 2018.
