Redshirt sophomore running back Chris Curry entered the transfer portal Monday afternoon, as first reported by Rivals.
Curry was LSU’s third leading rusher during the 2020 season, getting 45 carries for 145 yards and also caught one pass for 10 yards. Curry played in nine games this season, but only started two.
The LSU running back room was a crowded group with Curry, true sophomores Tyrion Davis-Price and John Emery, and freshman Tre Bradford. Even Josh Williams, a freshman walk on who was awarded a scholarship, started to get involved in the LSU offense as the season progressed.
