Doha, Qatar – Michael Cherry and Vernon Norwood both played their part in Team USA's 4x400 meter relay gold medal that closed out the 2019 IAAF World Championships in Qatar on Sunday.
Cherry claimed his second gold medal at the 2019 IAAF World Championships on Sunday as he ran the second leg on Team USA's 4x400 meter relay that won with a time of 2:56.69; the 2:56.69 was the fastest time run in the last 11 years on the global stage.
Cherry split a time of 43.8 to claim his gold medal exactly one week after collecting gold as a member of the U.
