Mater Dei High 2019 quarterback JT Daniels of Santa Ana, Calif. reported an offer from LSU Monday afternoon.
The 6-foot-3, 219-pounder tweeted: Super honored and excited to receive an offer from LSU!"
As a sophomore, Daniels passed for 4,849 yards and 67 touchdowns, leading his team to the Southern Section Division I championship game. Thus far, he has racked up 7,891 yards and 100 touchdowns through the air in his prep career.
He was named California Gatorade Player of the Year for 2016.
The prospect has offers from Alabama, Michigan, Washington, Nebraska, Stanford, Miami, Ole Miss, Texas A&M, Wisconsin, and many more.
