BATON ROUGE – LSU quarterback Joe Burrow picked up a second national offensive player of the week award on Tuesday afternoon as the senior was named National Co-Quarterback of the Week by the Davey O'Brien Foundation.
Burrow shared the honor with Minnesota quarterback Tanner Morgan, who directed the Gophers to an upset over fourth-ranked Penn State.
The Davey O'Brien honor marks the third award for Burrow this week as he's previously been named the Southeastern Conference Offensive Player of the Week, along with teammate Clyde Edwards-Helaire, as well as being selected as the Maxwell Award National Player of the Week.
