Brooks Curry continues to make LSU history.
A month ago Curry became the first LSU swimmer to qualify for the Olympics. Late Sunday night Curry then helped the United States earn a gold medal in the 4x100 meter relay making him the first Tiger swimmer to medal.
Curry participated in the preliminary round and helped get the United States to the finals. Curry competed with Blake Pieroni, Zach Apple, and Bowen Becker. In his leg, Curry finished his turn in the water with a time of 48.84 seconds and took the lead for the United States.
Curry wasn’t part of the final stage but still earned a gold medal seeing as he helped get the team to the finals.
