BATON ROUGE -- Antonio Blakeney scored 32 points as the LSU men's basketball team held off Florida to snap a losing skid, 96-91, on Saturday at the Maravich Center.
LSU (17-12, 10-6 SEC) pushed an 11-point halftime advantage to 18, and then made enough free throws down the stretch to best Florida (17-12, 8-8 SEC).
The Tigers return to action for the home finale on Tuesday at 8 p.m. CT against Missouri. The game will be televised by the SEC Network and broadcast on the LSU Sports Radio Network beginning at 7:30 p.m.
Blakeney, a freshman guard, was 9-of-13 from the field and 12-of-17 from the free thwo line to lead the Tigers to victory.
