LSU took its first step toward rebuilding the tight end room as Oklahoma’s Bauer Sharp told On3 that he’ll be transferring to LSU.
Sharp will have one season of eligibility remaining.
Originally from Alabama, Sharp’s college career actually began in Louisiana as he started at Southeastern. Sharp was originally a quarterback during the 2021 season before making the switch to tight end in the spring of ‘22.
Sharp caught 11 passes for 78 yards and a touchdown during the 2022 season. He also ran the ball 10 times for 83 yards. In his final year with the Lions he caught 29 passes for 288 yards and three touchdowns; he’s a good athlete because he ran the ball 25 times and scored three touchdowns.
