BATON ROUGE – Guard Tim Quarterman, who started 27 games this season, and who in three years is ranked 11th at LSU in career assists, has opted to forgo his remaining college eligibility and will enter the 2016 NBA Draft, LSU head men’s basketball coach Johnny Jones confirmed on Monday.
Quarterman averaged 11.2 points per game for LSU this past season and averaged 4.6 rebounds and 3.6 rebounds a game. He was seventh in the SEC in assist-to-turnover ratio for the 2015-16 with a 2.3 mark based on 120 assists and just 53 turnovers.
