BATON ROUGE – LSU men’s basketball coach has undergone surgery Tuesday to repair a minor injury and would miss the start of the 2015-16 basketball season.
“Rather than continue to deal with what is a nagging injury,” Hornsby said prior to the surgery on Monday, “it is in my best interest to get the surgery done now. I look forward to being back on the floor as soon as possible.”
