MELBOURNE, VICTORIA, Australia – Two days after scoring a 97-89 victory over CTI Melbourne United, the LSU men’s basketball team fell in a rematch early Saturday morning at the Hisense Arena, 82-64, to wrap up LSU’s 10-day Tour Down Under.
Playing its fifth game in eight days, the visiting Tigers couldn't find an offensive rhythm. LSU was outscored in the second quarter, 31-18, and trailed by 17 at halftime as Melbourne United shot 50 percent from the field.
LSU's Ben Simmons led the way with 16 points and 11 rebounds, with three assists and three steals in 37 minutes.
