BATON ROUGE -- The LSU men’s basketball team, coming off a 22-win NCAA Tournament appearance season, and presently on an exhibition tour of Australia, will play for the third straight year in the ESPN 24-hour College Hoops Tip-Off Marathon on Monday, Nov. 16.
LSU is 1-1 the last two years, losing a late-morning game at UMass, 93-91, to open its 2013-14 season in one of the most exciting games of the Marathon, and then rallied to win in overtime at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center, 69-64, over Texas Tech in the second game of the 2014-15 season.
This will be the first time LSU will be on the opening night of the annual Tip-Off Marathon.
