BATON ROUGE– LSU won its third straight home game to open up the season as they defeated UMBC by a score of 77-50 on Tuesday night in the Pete Maravich Assembly Center.
LSU improved to 3-1 on the season.
Charles Manning Jr. had his best game as a Tiger tonight against, scoring a season-high 16 points and shooting 6-of-8 from the field. Darius Days registered his second career double-double as he scored 10 points and came down with 10 rebounds.
Freshman Trendon Watford continued to impress as he recorded his first career double-double, scoring 12 points and grabbing 12 rebounds.
