BATON ROUGE-- The LSU men's basketball team got off to a hot start, shooting 7-of-9 to open the game, and finished strong with a few key baskets from Jalyn Patterson, Craig Victor II and Brandon Sampson to defeat the College of Charleston, 75-65, Monday night in the Maravich Center.
With the win, the Tigers improved to 8-2 on the season, while the College of Charleston fell to 8-4.
Victor notched his fourth career double-double as he had 18 points and 10 rebounds. Duop Reath led the Tigers with 23 points.
