Birmingham, Ala. – The No. 23 LSU men's golf team shot a 10-over 294 on Tuesday at the Country Club of Birmingham Invitational; the Tigers' two-day total of 18-over 586 has them in 11th place.
Tough scoring was the story of the day as no team in the field shot under par; the best team rounds of the day were by No. 4 Clemson and No. 19 Tennessee who turned in 1-over 285s. They are both tied for the team lead at 3-over 571.
Garrett Barber was the bright spot for the Purple and Gold on day two with a even par 71.
