Baton Rouge, La. – Philip Barbaree wrapped up the two-day 2019 Sun Bowl All-America Golf Classic with a tie for seventh place on Tuesday afternoon. Fellow LSU men's golfer Garrett Barber finished tied for 19th. The tournament, one of the highest regarded amateur events in the country, was hosted at the El Paso Country Club in Texas and played as a par 71 at 6,889 yards.
Barbaree's final tally was a 6-under 207 (68-68-71) to earn his seventh-place showing. Barbaree had 14 birdies in the 54-hole event to rank sixth in the field.
